Buongiorno and Mobixell Signed Agreement to Provide Mobile Operators with Multimedia Content Sharing Services

Advanced new managed service to power mobile social networks


Milan, Italy, and Boston, MA - Buongiorno (MTAX STAR, Italian Stock Exchange: BNG), a leading multinational operating in the market of digital entertainment, and Mobixell Networks, a leading provider of mobile multimedia Value Added Solutions (VAS) announced a partnership today. The companies will provide a new technology platform and managed service for mobile operators that will power social networking through mobile content sharing.

The partnership leverages Buongiorno's expertise in managed content services and its B!3ATM Digital Marketplace technology in combination with Mobixell's V-MarkTM, a comprehensive platform for mobile multimedia content sharing based on its patented DMF (Digital Media Fingerprinting) technology. .

Social networks and content sharing communities have been a major growth driver for the internet as part of the WEB 2.0 evolution. Today, there is a wealth of exciting mobile multimedia that can be shared - including user-generated content and "designed for sharing" alternatives to premium content. Content sharing presents a major opportunity to increase traffic and generate multimedia revenues. Mobile operators have been looking for the right platform and a compelling business model in order to bring the benefits of content sharing to the mobile space. The joint solution from Mobixell and Buongiorno offers a win-win situation for operators, content providers, and mobile subscribers.

The Buongiorno B!3A Digital Marketplace Platform provides an extensive set of tools that enables all tasks needed to operate complex mobile multimedia services.
Some of the main features include: content aggregation, content management, portal management (browsing and downloading), service delivery, billing, reporting and business intelligence.

Mobixell's V-Mark Viral Mobile Content Sharing system powers the new service. A comprehensive platform, V-Mark supports the entire process from establishing a content inventory through distribution, promotion and analysis. V-Mark capitalizes on Mobixell's multimedia expertise to reliably deliver dynamic, compelling, high-quality multimedia.

Within the joint solution structured, B!3A will have the role of managing and aggregating viral content coming from all the content providers (including B! and end users) as well as the operator itself' and to interact with V-Mark in order to upload content for fingerprinting and to retrieve data for reporting and CRM.

The V-Mark platform will be integrated to the operator infrastructure in order to track Peer-2-Peer viral content exchange.
