July Systems' Mobile Store and Mobixell's RMSC provide the operator's subscribers with the latest high-quality multimedia content, such as such as wallpapers, ringtones, true tones and high quality video. The joint system enables easy management of multimedia content, price-handling and customization of content according to device. It will enable subscribers to easily browse and preview mobile content in the store before actually purchasing it.
Mobixell's automatic media handling capabilities are used to facilitate the creation and introduction of attractive content, while automatically preparing preview samples as well as adjusting the content per specific handset (based on their extensive device capabilities database).
The automatic processing of content, and especially of rich video is a crucial element in the production of content and content samples for the mobile store and making it available for subscribers. The manual handling of such content is a long and time consuming process.
The demonstration will illustrate the advantages of the integration, and will introduce the following features:
- Efficiency in automatically supporting a large number of handsets
- Replacement of current manual creation of multiple copies with an automated process (reducing OPEX)
- Branding of content with either an operator's logo or a commercial advertisement.
