Allot and 724 Solutions (now Mobixell Networks) Bring Intelligent Policy Control to Mobile Broadband

Joint solution enables mobile operators to increase profitability of their mobile internet and broadband services

Boston, MA and Santa Barbara, CA , January 11, 2010 - Allot Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALLT), a leader in IP service optimization and revenue generation solutions and 724 Solutions (now Mobixell Networks), a leading provider of next generation mobile data solutions that enable seamless access and communications in an IP-based world, announced today the successful completion of integration and interoperability testing between Allot’s Service Gateway and 724’s Seamless Access solution. The joint solution and interoperability use cases were driven by customer requirements and enable mobile operators to provide high quality tiered and premium subscriber services that better align with subscriber usage and mobile internet plans.

 

The joint solution, based on 3GPP policy enforcement standards for mobile networks, combines Allot’s precise application identification and Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF) capabilities with 724’s market leading Seamless Access. It is designed to allow mobile operators to enhance user experience, better manage available bandwidth and fair use policies, and identify additional revenue opportunities within their mobile broadband services. The joint solution also designed to enable tailoring service packages based on a variety of parameters including session events, subscriber profile, quota, network resource availability, time of day and subscriber location.
