Mobixell Networks Announces that a Leading Tier-One Asian Operator has Selected Mobixell Ad-It™ as its Mobile Ad Solution

Asian operator uses Mobixell Ad-It™ to become pioneer in the deployment of multi-channel,

location-based advertising services

Mobile Asia Congress 2009, Hong Kong, November 18, 2009 – Mobixell, a provider of innovative mobile multimedia, messaging, video and advertising solutions today announced that it has been selected by a leading tier one Asian operator to deliver optimised, multi-channel, rich-media,  mobile and web-based advertising .  The Mobixell Ad-It™ solution provides the operator with an end-to-end advertising solution to monetise the operator’s inventory assets and to enable it to offer a rich variety of innovative mobile and web based advertising options to brand owners and advertising agencies in the region.

Mobixell Ad-It™ is a multi-channel, rich media advertising solution specialised in delivering optimised, high quality, multimedia ads over a variety of delivery channels on  Mobile and on the Web. A developed mobile advertising ecosystem requires connection to multiple brands, agencies and ad-networks, and Ad-It provides an interface to provision campaigns and optimise the selection of each ad in real time. With Ad-It in place, all network resources can be utilised to gather information for targeting and personalisation purposes, while protecting the user’s privacy within the network domain.

The Mobixell Ad-It™ solution will allow the Asian operator to expand its ad inventory beyond existing portal WAP banners, to deliver multiple advertising channels including inserting adverts into Missed Call Alerts (MCA) via SMS messaging, for off-deck mobile internet browsing, Video Streaming, and MMS - based on user behavioral and contextual targeting. Ad-It uses explicit opt-in permissions to provide the first large-scale deployment of location-based targeting which allows the operator to insert ads related to the whereabouts of the user, and to create immediate commercial opportunities.

A key aspect of the Ad-It™ ad server and delivery solution that appealed to the Asian operator was its ability to provide a centralised ad-serving solution for mobile, web and - in the future - IPTV channels, that scales exponentially to accommodate its multi-million subscriber base.

Avichai Levy, EVP Marketing of Mobixell comments: “With Ad-It installed as part of the network, Mobixell is raising the bar for mobile advertising. It is now possible to use location, as well as other profile information for targeting users on a wide scale. Targeted ads, offered by the operators ensure high CPM and effective engagement of consumers. This deployment also serves as a testament to our commitment to work with operators in Asia and to build our presence in the important APAC market place.”
