On2 Technologies Licenses On2 VP6 to Mobixell Networks

Mobixell's Mobile Multimedia Solution Makes VP6 Video Content Available to Carrier and Advertising Customers

CLIFTON PARK, NY - On2 Technologies (NYSE Amex: ONT) today announced that it has licensed its On2® VP6 Codec SDK to Mobixell Networks for use in the company's mobile multimedia processing and optimization platform. Mobixell solutions enable operators, advertisers and content providers to introduce multimedia services to mobile subscribers and maximize their revenue streams by delivering optimized, high-quality media content.  

The On2 VP6 video format is used in web, mobile and HD-quality form for leading sites such as Hulu, Vimeo, Yahoo! Video, Dailymotion, CCTV.com, 56.com, Tudou.com, Eurosport and others.
