Mobixell Video Optimization Comparison Demo

Mobixell Seamless Access mobile video optimization dramatically improves video performance with virtually no visual loss of video quality. That's a critical factor for subscribers who expect smooth, high-performance mobile video viewing.

The video files below have been compressed offline at various levels using Mobixell Seamless Access. No additional optimization technologies or techniques are applied to the files playing below.

To compare visual quality, view this page on a large PC or tablet browser screen. You can see, even at 57% compression, that it is very difficult to notice the difference in quality from file to file.

To compare video performance, view this page on the screen of a device connected to a mobile network. Note the loading speed of each version, from the original to the high-compression version. (For easy access to this page on a mobile device, scan the QR code to the right.) Notice the file sizes and the amount of buffering each file requires to complete viewing.

Notes:

Mobile device CPU power: Most mobile devices are not designed to play 4 video screens simultaneously. Except for devices with powerful processors, it is likely that you will experience more buffering and interruptions than when playing one video at a time. For the sake of this demo, it is the amount of time that each file takes to play which is important.

iOS devices: This demo, which plays FLV files, will not run on iOS devices. For more about how mobile operators can enable viewing of Adobe Flash-based content on Apple iOS devices, watch this video.
