Amir Aharoni,
CEO & Co Founder
Before co-founding Mobixell, Amir Aharoni served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Optibase Ltd.(NASDAQ:OBAS), a leading specialist in the delivery of MPEG-based digital video over ATM and IP-based networks. Amir oversaw Optibase's sales, marketing, R&D, operations and HR departments, and was responsible for the company's five wholly-owned subsidiaries worldwide. Prior to this, Amir was part of the founding team of VDOnet Corp. an Internet video-streaming and video-conferencing technology company, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering. He also worked as an engineer at Intel's design center in Israel. Amir holds a BSEE/CS (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Engineering from the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology), and received his MBA from Tel Aviv University.
David Kahani,
Chief Operating Officer
Before joining Mobixell executive team, David Kahani served as Senior VP of Engineering of Teranex Inc., a US based company in the field of Video and Image Processing, Array (parallel) architecture. In his previous roles, David served Executive VP R&D of Optibase (NASDAQ:OBAS), a leading specialist in the delivery of MPEG-based digital video over ATM and IP-based networks and before that as AVP & COO of one of ECI Telecom's (NASDAQ:ECIL) business units, The Broadband Mux Business Unit (name Hi-TV) focusing on large scale, high-quality video distribution over broadband ATM networks. David holds a BSc. in Electronics and Computer Science from the Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
Yehuda Elmaliach,
CTO & Co Founder
A co-founder of Mobixell, Yehuda Elmaliach previously co-founded Optibase Ltd. (NASDAQ:OBAS),a leading specialist in the delivery of MPEG-based digital video over ATM and IP-based networks. During his years at Optibase, Yehuda held a number of different managerial positions including Vice President of Research and Development, and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this, he worked at Intel's design center in Israel. Yehuda holds a BSEE from the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology).
Robert E. DeFeo,
EVP Global Sales & GM US Operations
Before joining the Mobixell Executive Team, Robert DeFeo served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Digital Deck, an innovative software company providing applications and middleware for accessing content throughout the networked home. In his previous roles, Robert served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Teranex, an image processing solutions provider for the digital media industry. Mr. DeFeo also served as Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing of Optibase (NASDAQ:OBAS),a leading specialist in the delivery of MPEG-based digital video over ATM and IP-based networks. Mr. DeFeo holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS from the University of Pittsburgh.
Tamar Ben-Porath,
EVP Corporate Development & HR
Ms. Ben-Porath Adv., joined the company's management team in 2007. Prior to that, she served as external legal counsel of the Company since its inception. Her prior experience spans the full range of corporate transactions, including advising start-up companies on venture capital financing, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, employee incentive schemes, and day-to-day corporate matters. Tamar also has extensive experience in complex licensing deals, joint development agreements, and strategic alliances. Following her clerkship with the Israeli Supreme Court, Adv. Ben Porath practiced corporate law with a top Chicago law firm, and after returning to Israel, joined as a Partner in the Israeli law firm of Eitan, Pearl & Co. Ms. Ben-Porath holds an LL.B from the University of Tel-Aviv law school, and an LL.M degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Avichai Levy,
EVP Marketing
Before joining Mobixell, Avichai Levy was CEO of Targetize, a start-up providing mobile video and audio search and delivery solutions. Prior to that, he was Managing Partner of StarVision,a strategy and marketing consulting company. Avichai was also a Senior VP Marketing and Business Development and one of the founders of TTI Telecom (founded in 1992),a NASDAQ traded company that provides overall management solutions for telecommunication networks. At TTI, Avichai helped set the company's vision and assisted in growing the company from 15 to 650 people. He managed over 50 people at TTI, including marketing, presales, and business development worldwide, as well as sales people in strategic accounts in North America (including 3 years from the TTI US Offices)
Yaron Dishon,
SVP Sales APAC & Americas
Prior to joining Mobixell, Yaron was VP of Global Sales & Channel Development at Adamind where he was responsible for setting up and managing sales activities in key markets in Asia, EMEA and North America. During his 2 years with Adamind, Yaron built business relationships with blue-chip global telecommunication services and infrastructure companies such as Ericsson, Motorola and IBM and managed direct relations with Operators such as Verizon, Bharti, M1 etc. Yaron joined Adamind from Emblaze Systems following the merger between Philips MP4Net and Emblaze Transcoding where he was acting as Director of Business Development at Emblaze Systems. Prior to joining Emblaze, Mr. Dishon served as V.P. Business Development & Sales at Team works Technology Ltd., an Internet Technology Company. Before this, Mr. Dishon was acting in several Sales and Marketing positions at Johnson & Johnson, Inc. and D.M.I International, Inc. Mr. Dishon holds an MBA in Marketing and Trade from Thunderbird, Glendale, AZ USA and B.Sc. in Management from University of Massachusetts - Boston, Massachusetts USA.
Avi Kahani,
VP Finance & Operations
Before joining Mobixell, Avi Kahani was the General Manager of a consumer products import and marketing enterprise, representing, among others, the Newell Rubbermaid Corporation. Prior to that, Avi served as the brand-marketing manager for Guri Distribution Ltd. Avi holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology).
Asher Besserglick,
VP R&D
Prior to re-joining Mobixell, Asher was Senior Director of Product Management at BigBand (NASDAQ:BBND),a leading provider of video solutions for cable and telecom networks. Before this, he was Director of Systems Engineering here at Mobixell, and before that ,served as VP R&D at InfoGin. Asher has extensive expertise in the fields of Mobile Communications, Fix Communications, and Multimedia (Video). Asher holds a BSc in physics and mathematics from the Hebrew University, Israel, and an MSc in electrical engineering from the Tel Aviv University, Israel, Cum Laude.
Moshe Anisman,
VP Customer Services & QA
Moshe Anisman joined Mobixell in 2004 as Director of Customer Solutions, responsible for the deployment and support of large scale projects in Tier-1 cellular operators, and also for overseeing all technological activities from pre-sale through project management, deployment, and post-sale support. Prior to joining Mobixell, Moshe served as Vice President of R&D in IDcide, a pioneer company providing technology solutions for Web privacy compliance verification. In this role, Moshe was responsible for the successful development and deployment of IDcide products in Fortune 100 and Big Four companies(such as Procter & Gamble, and Ernst & Young). Before joining IDcide, Moshe worked for five years at Mercury Interactive, holding several senior software development and project management positions. Moshe holds a BSc.in Computer Science from the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology).
